Our copper alloy grab bar is manufactured using American quality craftsmanship and a CuVerro® bactericidal copper surface that fosters a cleaner, more sanitary environment. CuVerro bactericidal copper alloy surfaces are the only class of EPA-registered solid surfaces that are proven to dramatically improve hygiene by eliminating 99.9% of bacteria within two hours, with continued effectiveness 24/7 even after repeated contamination. Viruses can only remain viable on copper surfaces for 4 hours. In contrast, it can remain viable on plastic and stainless steel surfaces for up to 3 days. These findings were established in a recent study conducted by the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This grab bar can support more than 250 lbs. when properly installed.
